The taxi could be seen in a static position up against bollards outside of a nearby corner shop following the crash. The double decker bus was city centre bound heading to the Liverpool ONE bus station.
London Road is one of the main arterial routes into Liverpool City Centre with Police confirming that traffic was building up as a result of the collisions. Officers and ambulance staff remained at the scene as the road was cleared.
