Dota 2 Roster News: Nigma Galaxy Reveals Complete Lineup

The team is finally complete. (Credit: Nigma Galaxy)

It looks like fans of Dota 2 team Nigma Galaxy have a new reason to be happy about. The team finally announced the remaining members and completes the roster. Players Daniel "Ghost" Chan and Roman "rmN-" Paley have both signed up.

It's been a while since Nigma Galaxy had a good showing in the competitive scene. However, this doesn't seem to have fazed team captain Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi. After most of the roster deciding to leave, he managed to convince and have Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan return. With the King now on the roster again, KuroKy was also able to bring back none other Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi. This 1-2 combination is interesting to see again.

From Coach to Player

It's safe to say that Dota 2 player rmN- has been there since the start. He was active even when it was still Dota. However, unlike most of his contemporaries, he mainly played with low-tier teams. Before being a member of the roster, he's actually been a part of Nigma Galaxy but as a coach. He joined the team back in 2019 and has been on that role until 2022. It's worth nothing that both SumaiL and Miracle- were in the team when he was the coach.

From East to West

Ghost is also another player that's been in Dota 2 for quite a while. He had his start in Southeast Asia though most of the teams he was part of were Tier 3. It was when he signed up with Royal Never Give Up that he started to play in higher-level Dota 2. The team went on to qualify for The International 2022 but was eliminated during the first round of the Playoffs. It was then that the transferred to Xtreme Gaming before eventually going to Nigma Galaxy.

The New Season

While there's no word yet on how this new season is going to play out considering that there won't be that much support from Valve, it's still exciting to know that the teams are doing what the can to prepare. BOOM Esports for example is trying out its luck in South America. Then there's Azure Ray which brought back Zeng "Ori" Jiaoyang and Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida to the competitive scene. Let's not forget Team Secret which recently made changes to the roster as well.

Excited to see the new season?
