When TSM announced that it was leaving the Dota 2 competitive scene in North America, the roster had no choice but to return to being Team Undying. However, it didn't take long for them to be in another organization as they've been officially signed with Tundra Esports.
A Look Back
It was January 2022 when Undying first revealed its roster composed of Enzo "Timado" Gianoli, Jonathan "Bryle" De Guia, Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek, David Tan Boon "MoonMeander" Yang, and Kim "DuBu" Doo-young. A few weeks after this, the entire roster was signed on by TSM. The organization had made the decision to be part of the competitive scene for Dota 2 in North America.
The roster had been doing relatively well though it had a poor performance during The International 2022 after being eliminated in the Group Stage. They did actually well in the recently concluded season and finished a little higher in The International 2023 at 9th-12th place. However, this wasn't enough as the organization announced it was exiting Dota 2. This resulted in the roster going back to being Team Undying.
From Hero to Zero
For Tundra Esports, the team was on a high after sweeping Team Secret in The International 2022 and hoisting the Aegies. For the 2022-2023 DPC Season, they did pretty well and giving them an early spot in TI 12. However, Martin "Saksa" Sazdov had to take an extended break due to a health issue resulting in Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen joining. Despite the hype, Tundra didn't do so well and was eliminated in the first round of the Lower Bracket in TI 12. This resulted in a majority of the members leaving the roster.
What Next?
The roster signed by Tundra is composed of:

- Jonathan "Bryle" De Guia (Canada)
- Ilyas "kasane" Gainullin (Russia)
- Aleksandr "Immersion" Khmelevskoi (Russia)
- Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon (Indonesia)
While Tundra Esports had previously been part of Western Europe, it appears for now they'll be running under North America. This is evidenced in their participation in the ongoing ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. However, the organization need to decide where they'll be officially located given the different regional affiliations of the players. Chances are they'll likely see first what happens in the ongoing tournament before making a final decision.
