Borussia Dortmund boss Marco Rose has been handed a vote of confidence ahead of this week's Europa League showdown with Rangers.
Rangers travel to Germany for the first leg of the play-off round on Thursday, with the return leg at Ibrox the week after.
Dortmund are in crisis after a thumping 5-2 home defeat by Bayer Leverkusen last week. They were also dumped out of both the Champions League and German Cup at early stages.
They are a long way behind leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga with the Europa League their only chance of winning silverware this season.
Rose was confronted by an irate fan at their home ground during last week's humiliating defeat and Dortmund fans have criticised his brand of football.
But BVB sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted there's no chance they are considering a change in management.
He said: "We have never had a coaching discussion at any point.
"Overall we are on the right track. The manager wanted to change certain things and that can't be done in a very short time.
"We have a very important Europa League tie coming up with Rangers and we have to accept that is our best chance of winning a trophy this season.
"And we have to do everything we can to get as far as possible in that competition."
Dortmund now face a tricky away game with Union Berlin today and will have to do without star striker Erling Haaland, who faces a race against time to be fit for the match against Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side.
And Zorc has demanded the players bounce back from last week's heavy defeat.
He said: "After the performance against Leverkusen I expect a reaction and a different result.
"You don't have to be a great prophet to say that Bayern Munich will most likely be German champions again with this lead. But we don't want to get worse either, we want to keep going."
