Dora the Explorer explaining rules during Nickelodeon’s Super Bowl broadcast had fans making jokes

When you need an NFL rule explained during the broadcast, you call Dora the Explorer.

Nickelodeon’s beloved kid explorer made an appearance during Super Bowl 58’s Nick-themed broadcast to explain to all the folks at home how the rules of football work.

In the clip below, Dora does a great job breaking down why NFL players can’t hold while they’re on the field. She even throws in a little reference to her television show in there at the end because how could you not?

This is absolutely adorable, and it’s also a nice little primer about an NFL rule that some folks may know more about than they did before this reminder.

It’s always delightful when the Super Bowl is on CBS and Nick characters like Dora can get involved with the broadcast.

As you can imagine, the internet loved Dora’s Super Bowl cameo appearance and had some great jokes to mark the occasion.
