Houston Texans receiver John Metchie III probably already felt bad enough about fumbling the ball on Houston’s first possession during Saturday’s AFC Wild Card game. He’ll feel even worse when he sees what the famous animated child, Dora the Explorer, had to say about the sequence.
On the Nickelodeon accompanying broadcast — where Jim Harbaugh professed his love for SpongeBob SquarePants — Dora broke her usual fourth wall to ask America’s children if they saw the defender (Alohi Gilman) coming before forcing the fumble.
She let the moment breathe before asserting that it didn’t seem like Metchie did, either. Oof. My goodness. What ruthlessness from a child!
