Ulster champions Derry take on Donegal in a north-west derby in Group Two in a game which could have huge ramifications for both teams.
Donegal returned to winning ways with an impressive victory in Ennis in round one while Derry battled back to secure a draw against Monaghan last Saturday night in Celtic Park.
The Oak Leafers could also have won the game after Shane McGuigan’s late free, but Karl O’Connell ensured the Farney left Derry City with a share of the spoils.
Both counties have gone through managerial upheaval in recent weeks and Derry legend Paddy Bradley will be plotting the downfall of his native county alongside Donegal’s interim manager Aidan O’Rourke while Ciaran Meenagh has taken charge of Derry until the end of the season following Rory Gallagher’s departure.
