Donald Trump is currently being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. The swearing-in ceremony is taking place in the Capitol Rotunda to accommodate the cold temperatures outside.
For the oath, Trump is expected to use Abraham Lincoln’s bible, the same one Lincoln used during his own swearing-in ceremony in 1861. Additionally, Trump will also be using a personal bible, the same two that he used during his previous inauguration in 2017.
Chief Justice John Roberts will be administering the oath to Trump, marking the official beginning of his term as the President of the United States.
