Donald Trump supporter EXPLODES at reporter in live broadcast screaming 'fake news'

This is the astonishing moment a Donald Trump supporter explodes at a reporter during a live broadcast ahead of his indictment.

Nine TV US correspondent Alison Piotrowski was reporting on the former president's charges, where he is expected to be charged with 34 felony counts for falsifying business records, when she was aggressively heckled during her report.

The reporter was talking to Today Show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo when a female supporter starts labelling Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who brought the charges against Trump, "a criminal."

Shen then screams: "Bragg is a criminal, Bragg is the criminal. You guys are fake news."

The reporter snapped back at the Trump supporter: "This is one of a handful of (Trump) supporters that has come down this morning."

However, the supporter was less than happy with her description of the events, she added: "Handful of supporters?

"You people never tell the goddamn truth, ever. Ever."

"You and your made-up facts... Trump 2024, you'll all get locked up."

Ms Piotrowski was left amused by the confrontation as she told the Today hosts the scene is "like a circus".

He claimed: "Alvin Bragg has filed false charges against this beautiful man and I'm outraged. 'I will stand here for as long as it takes to support this beautiful man."

The angry diatribe comes as angry hundreds of supporters started to queue outside Trump Tower as the president flew in from his residence in Florida to New York last night to hear the charges against him.

Mr Trump was staying overnight at his residency ahead of today's hearing as he held last-minute meetings with his lawyers before he is formally arraigned, fingerprinted and has his mugshot taken.

The former president is expected to face up to 30 business fraud charges in relation to the $130,000 hush payment to porn star Storm Daniels in the run up to the 2016 election.

According to reports, Trump was keen on delivering a speech outside the court house in New York but was advised against it due to security concerns.

And with hundreds of supporters outside Trump Tower and the court house, security has been tightened ahead of the former president's appearance - with authorities wanting to avoid a repeat of the Capitol Hill riots on January 6, 2021.

During his speech he is expected to criticise the District Attorney Alvin Bragg as he believes the charges are political, with the attorney being a Democrat.

Mr Trump is now expected to deliver remarks to his supporters in Florida with lawyers expected to finalise his speech on the flight.
