Donald Trump's go-to McDonald's order revealed - includes two popular menu items

Former US President Donald Trump' s McDonald's order has been revealed in an upcoming memoir.

Trump's go-to Maccies order was revealed by his son-in-law as a Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, fries and a vanilla shake.

Jared Kushner said while the 45th president was suffering from Covid-19 in 2020 he "requested one of his favourite meals", according to a copy obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Ivanka Trump's husband wrote that it was a "McDonald’s Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, fries and a vanilla shake".

Mr Trump's love of the Golden Arches is well-known.

In 2021, his ex-bodyguard claimed the former US President borrowed £95 to buy McDonald's cheeseburgers, and never paid him back.

Kevin McKay, from Aberdeen, said his five years of working for the billionaire Republican ruined his life, with the stress of the job helping to end his 24-year marriage.

In 2020, he credited his love of McDonald's food for retaining his famous crop of blonde hair.

The US President tweeted "No wonder I didn't lose my hair!" and shared a news story claiming a chemical in the fast food giant's fries may cure baldness.

In 2018, Michael Wolff suggested in his book “ Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” that one Mr Trump liked fast food because he “had a longtime fear of being poisoned.”

He wrote: "[O]ne reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s — nobody knew he was coming and the food was safely premade."

Mr Trump tested positive for Covid-19 in October 2020 and checked into Reed National Military Medical Center for three days.

He tweeted from the hospital: "Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

While Mr Kushner does not share many details of his father-in-law’s condition, he claims the then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows was “nervous” about his health.

He wrote: "As the president recovered at Walter Reed, we all recognized that the [re-election] campaign would have to wait until Trump was both physically strong and medically cleared to return to the trail.

"In the meantime, he spoke directly to Americans through social media to update them on his recovery.”

Kushner’s memoir, “Breaking History,” will be released on August 23.
