Ivana Trump has revealed that she can call her ex husband Donald Trump whenever she wants - despite him being the US President.
The former wife of Trump - who married the former businessman in 1977 before divorcing him 14-years later - shared on her friendly relationship with her ex and offered her opinion on his current wife Melania Trump during a TV interview on Monday's Loose Women.
During the chat on the ITV show, the mother-of-three told that she and Donald became friends following their divorce for the sake of their brood.
She added that two years after their prenuptial agreement was settled they reconnected and they often speak on the phone about their kids and economics.
When asked by the Loose Women on the protocol for speaking to Trump, she said: “I can speak to him anytime, but he’s so busy and he’s travelling so much.”
And explaining how they became pals after their divorce, she added: “It took about two years until our prenuptial agreement was finalised and we split whatever we had to split and then we talked about the kids - we had three wonderful kids to raise.
"Eric was at the time 4, Ivanka was probably 6 and Donald Jr was 12, something like that. They needed people who would look after them and guide them. After all that was solved we became very good friends.”
Ivana was also asked if she has a friendship with First Lady Melania Trump or speaks to her.
Ivana shared: “No, I speak directly to Mr President… We talk about our children, sometimes we talk about economics but I don’t give him really advice.”
Asked if she’s met Melania and what she thinks of her as a First Lady, Ivana said: “Yes of course I did. I am not sure, she’s very quiet and she really doesn’t go to too many places.”
It was reported that Ivana was given a $14million settlement, more than £10million, a 45-room mansion, an apartment in Trump Tower and the use of Mar-a-Lago for a month every year after she and Trump ended their union.
The uncontested divorce was granted on the grounds of cruel and inhumane treatment and Ivana signed a non-disclosure agreement banning her from talking about her marriage to Trump.
