Donald Trump and Elon Musk trade blows on social media as former US President mocks Tesla owner

A simmering feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump began to reach a boil yesterday when Trump posted comments making fun of the Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s unfulfilled ambitions.

Trump said that without the subsidies he gave him “he’d be worthless.” The post featured a picture of the two men in The Whitehouse smiling for the camera.

This latest jab comes after Musk said that the former president should not run for office again in 2024 as he would be too old, saying Trump should “sail into the sunset.” A comment that was prompted by Trump calling Musk a “bullshit artist.”

Twitter has said it intends to take Musk to court to force him to honour the agreement.

In response, Musk, of course, took to Twitter.
