Donal Peyton: Gardai call off search after body of missing Roscommon man located

Gardai have called off a search for a missing Roscommon man after the discovery of a body on Wednesday morning.

Donal Peyton was last seen in Castlerea on Monday 14th February 2022.

Gardai had searched for the 51-year-old after launching an alert four days ago.

After the discovery this morning of a body in Castlerea, it has since been confirmed to be Donal.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time."
