Leading pizza chain Domino's rebranded one of its stores to honour Lucy Bronze ahead of the Euro 2022 final - a tribute to the Lioness who once worked at the outlet.
In celebration of the English women's football team making it to the competitions coveted final, the Headingly store changed its name simply to "Lucy's."
Leeds Live reports that the 30-year-old Barcelona star and national team staple worked at the Leeds-based shop as a chef in the early 2010s, while conducting studies at Leeds Beckett University.

However, the sports outlet also reports that the tribute to the Northumberland-born defender doesn't just end with a change of name. Moped delivery drivers at the store were also equipped with bronze helmets, replacing the usual white outfit - and anyone called Lucy with a valid ID was able to claim a free pizza between 2pm and 4.30pm on the day of the final (Sunday, 31 July 2022).
Ahead of the final, Ricky Kandola, Operations Director at SK Group, said: “Lucy Bronze worked at Domino’s so of course she delivers. We have always been proud of Lucy’s journey from pizza to pitch.
“Fingers crossed that Lucy and the team can make a pizza history and bring home the trophy."
And eagle-eyed locals were quick to spot the company's rebrand in Leeds, taking to social media to point it out to those further afield. Andrew Dinsbury, wrote: "The Domino's in Headingley has rebranded for Lucy Bronze, who worked there when she studied at @leedsbeckett. Go Lionesses."
And those who had seen the transformation took time to reply to the Tweet in amazement, with one writing: "Oh I didn’t realise she was a fellow alumna! I was there 1971-75." Another, added: "Nice to see they got the score right on the domino too," nodding to the 2-1 score line in the final itself.
