Pizza delivery chain Domino’s has announced the launch of two new vegan pizzas today – but they’ll only be available at just 46 of its stores across the UK and Ireland.
The late night favourite revealed that it is trialling two new vegan pies at a handful of its restaurants, including five locations in London. The group currently has more than 1000 sites in the UK.
The pizzas – which Domino’s says have been in development for more than a year – include a Vegan Margherita made with Domino’s own vegan cheese, and a Vegan Vegi Supreme topped with mushrooms, sweetcorn, onions, both green and red peppers and tomatoes. Both are made with a vegan, hand-stretched dough.
If you think you’ve seen them on the menu before, that’s because both pizzas are plant-based riffs on current vegetarian offerings.
The company is yet to confirm when, or if, the pizzas will be rolled out across its full restaurant repertoire.
Domino’s has continued to offer delivery services throughout the lockdown, but has temporarily suspended its takeaway offering.
