Liverpool target Dominik Szoboszlai has already outlined his ambition to win the Champions League.
The 22-year-old is set to undergo a medical ahead of an Anfield switch from RB Leipzig. On Friday, the Reds told the Bundesliga outfit that they will trigger the midfielders' £60m release clause just hours before it was due to expire.
June 30 was the date earmarked for the conclusion that the base fee would be available. Now, Jurgen Klopp is one step closer to bagging the Hungarian captain.
Szoboszlai will arrive on Merseyside as the German looks for a response from his side following their fifth-place finish in the Premier League last season. The Leipzig midfielder looks set to walk through the doors at the AXA Training Centre on the back of winning back-to-back DFB Pokals with Die Roten Bullen.

It's an exciting time at the Reds after the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister plus with big campaigns ahead for Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez. The ongoing work at Anfield will also see Liverpool move closer to having a 61,000-seater capacity with their first game of the Premier League season away from L4.
But the 22-year-old has already detailed his ambition ahead of his Liverpool move. He said speaking to Bundesliga's official website: "I have said before that my biggest dream is to win the Champions League.
"I want to win as many trophies as possible and have a really good career because that was my goal as a youngster. I want to play in full stadiums, in front of 70,000 people for the national team and to score and create goals and make people happy.
"I also want my father and my family to see me winning trophies like the Champions League.
"That's the aim and that's why I get up and work hard every day. Hopefully, that will pay off," he added. "Once again, to win the Champions League. I also want to stay healthy and injury-free, I don't wish injuries on anyone.
"With Leipzig I want to go as far as possible in the cup and the Champions League and to finish as high as possible in the Bundesliga. That's what we're working towards now."
The sentiment of Szoboszlai was echoed by Mohamed Salah at the end of the previous campaign, as he shared his sadness at missing out on the Champions League with a passionate social media post.
