Dominic Calvert-Lewin ruled out but Everton handed double injury boost for Bournemouth

Neither Dominic Calvert-Lewin nor Nathan Patterson will be fit for Everton's final Premier League game against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon, Sean Dyche has revealed.

Both players were withdrawn during the first half of the Blues' draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out due to sustaining hamstring injuries.

Speaking to reporters at Finch Farm on Friday, Dyche revealed that neither player has recovered in time to face the Cherries at Goodison Park this weekend, where victory will ensure Everton retain their ever-present Premier League status.

"They won't be fit," said Dyche. "Well, we haven't had Dom for two-thirds of my time here. We've still won games and still got points on the board, performed well. And Patto's come into the side more latterly, done very well, but we lose him as well."

The 51-year-old also provided an update on the fitness of Vitalii Mykolenko, who has missed the recent outings against Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers with a groin injury, admitting a decision will be made on the defender's availability after training on Saturday.

In a double boost for the Blues, Dyche also confirmed Amadou Onana will be available for the relegation showdown after reports of concerns around his fitness. The boss also indicated Andros Townsend is making progress, but remains unlikely to feature.
