Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Andros Townsend: Everton injury news and return dates ahead of Tottenham

Everton are back in Premier League action very soon as they take on Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues welcome Spurs to Goodison Park in the latest instalment of Monday Night Football on April 3. It sees Everton play their first fixture following the March international break.

Sean Dyche will have to deal with a number of injury issues going into the clash against Tottenham. The North London club will also be without some of their key players, as well as having a change in manager following Antonio Conte’s departure.

Here, the ECHO takes a look at what Everton’s current injury list looks like, including possible return dates.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Calvert-Lewin has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the start of February.

The Everton striker has made just one appearance for the Blues since Dyche replaced Frank Lampard, with his only outing coming in the 1-0 win over Arsenal on February 4.

Dyche confirmed in his latest press conference that Calvert-Lewin is training on the grass, but has yet to return to full team training.

Expected return date: April

Andros Townsend

Townsend has been sidelined with a knee injury since March 2022.

The Everton forward ruptured his ACL last season, and required surgery which has since kept him on the sidelines.

It was initially given a rough timeframe that Townsend would recover in time for March of this year, but the 31-year-old has been patiently going through his rehabilitation since suffering the injury.

Expected return date: Unknown
