A MAN was due to appear in court on Thursday charged with serious domestic violence offences after he was arrested at a Hunter petrol station.
On Thursday August 29, police from the Hunter High Risk Domestic Violence Offender Team, with assistance from Lake Macquarie officers, commenced inquiries to locate a 57-year-old man following reports of alleged domestic violence offences.
Following extensive investigations police arrested the man at a service station on the Pacific Highway, Lake Munmorah, about 7.25am Thursday, September 12.
He was taken to Wyong police station and was charged with three counts contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO, three counts stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, two counts possess prohibited drug and use carriage service to menace/harass/ offend.
He was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Thursday. No further details have been released at this time.
