The Cincinnati Bengals have reeled in some major names in recent years to kickstart their “Ruler of the Jungle” tradition for big games.
This holiday season that will continue in Week 12 with the Pittsburgh Steelers in town. The Bengals have announced that modern fan favorite Domata Peko will rule the jungle before and during the AFC North clash.
Peko, a fourth-round pick in 2006 out of Michigan State, played in Cincinnati through the 2016 season and was a staple of many strong defenses — and especially a fan favorite when he made an appearance or two as a fullback.
Peko retired after the 2020 season and is the latest modern great to walk back through the doors for a special moment.
