Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is stoking the flames ahead of 2023’s matchup against his former team.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Dolphins at some point during the 2023 NFL season. It’ll be a homecoming for Hill, with his first trip back to Arrowhead Stadium following his trade to Miami. It’s a moment that Hill is clearly already thinking about.
On Wednesday, Hill shared a clip on his brand’s social media page (Soul Runner), challenging Chiefs Kingdom to get ready for the regular season showdown at Arrowhead. Not a bad little marketing ploy, if you ask me. Here’s what he had to say:
“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we going to do, guess what we going to do. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all, I hate to do it. Guess what, I’m going to be y’all worst enemy that day. I’m going to be y’all worst enemy that day. You better change the signals. I know every signal that y’all got.”

It’s clear that Hill is planning on being prepared to face his former team. He’s also looking to bring his signature bravado to town. Rest assured that when it comes time for Kansas City to prepare for the Dolphins, they’ll do plenty to combat Hill’s familiarity with the team. For now, they’ll enjoy the offseason after a Super Bowl-winning campaign in 2022.
