Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill took to X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday to shut down any suggestion from fans that involved his team trading away wideout Jaylen Waddle.
“My boy waddle is the future, he is better than I was at this point in his career and for people in this fan base to want to trade him is ludicrous,” Hill wrote.
Hill’s praise is high to put it lightly. After all, Hill is on pace to go down as one of the best players at his position in NFL history, but he’s right. Even he didn’t start his career as well as Waddle has, statistically.

Over his first three years in the NFL, Hill was a three-time Pro Bowler but didn’t have a 1,000-yard receiving season until his second season. Meanwhile, Waddle has started his career with three straight 1,000-yard campaigns and 19 total touchdowns. He hasn’t been selected to a single Pro Bowl, though.
It’s fair to say Miami is likely looking to keep the dynamic pair together for as long as possible.
