The Miami Dolphins lost linebacker Jerome Baker to an MCL injury during last week’s battle with the Washington Commanders.
While head coach Mike McDaniel said the former Buckeye is week-to-week, the Dolphins have brought in some depth at the position.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Miami has signed linebacker Calvin Munson off of the New England Patriots practice squad.
Munson, 28, will be joining the Dolphins for his third stint with the team. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants back in 2017 after a collegiate career at San Diego State. Since 2018, Munson has gone back and forth between the Patriots and the Dolphins.
In 46 career games, Munson has recorded 88 tackles (six for a loss), two sacks and a forced fumble.
