Dolphins sign WR Freddie Swain to their practice squad

The Miami Dolphins made a number of roster moves last week involving their wide receivers.

River Cracraft was placed on injured reserve and Erik Ezukanma was placed on the non-football injury list. Miami then signed Robbie Chosen from their active roster from their practice squad.

According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, the Dolphins have filled that practice squad spot by signing Freddie Swain.

Swain, 25, is a familiar name for Dolphins fans as he’s had two prior stints with the team, one in 2022 and one this past offseason.

In his career, he’s recorded 42 receptions for 576 yards and six touchdowns.

Swain also joins Braylon Sanders and Raleigh Webb as receivers on the practice squad.
