The Miami Dolphins added four veterans to their practice squad Thursday, including wide receiver Robbie Chosen who spent 2023 with the team.
Along with Chosen, the Dolphins added quarterback Tim Boyle, wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge, and defensive tackle Naquan Jones. Miami also released running back Anthony McFarland Jr., who was one of 10 players signed to the Dolphins practice squad Wednesday.
Following the transactions, the Dolphins have 13 players on the practice squad with room to add four more (Bayron Matos doesn’t count against the 16 player limit due to the International Pathway Program).
Chosen, 31, caught four passes for 126 yards and a touchdown during his time with the Dolphins last season and has 5,082 career receiving yards with 30 touchdowns. He spent training camp with the San Francisco 49ers, but was released earlier this week.
Boyle, 29, has spent time with five teams and has made five career starts, including a game last year against the Dolphins.
Eskridge, 27, spent the last three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks after joining the team as a second-round pick in 2021. He has 17 career receptions for 122 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jones, 26, has made stops with the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals with appearances in 36 games. He has 3.5 career sacks and seven tackles for loss.
