During the Miami Dolphins’ Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles, safety Jevon Holland was forced off the field following a collision with linebacker David Long.
While Holland returned to action, he reported concussion symptoms the following day, resulting in the safety being placed in the league’s concussion protocol and a missed game against the New England Patriots.
On Tuesday, live from Germany, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced that Holland cleared protocol, meaning he should be good to go for their Week 9 battle with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Holland has been one of the most important pieces for Vic Fangio’s defense, as he’s shown the ability to make plays all over the field and in key moments. Having him back this week will be huge against one of the greatest coaches and quarterbacks the league has seen.
