Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been sidelined since the team’s Week 4 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals which saw him suffer a concussion that resulted in him being stretchered off of the field.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday morning that Tagovailoa has officially cleared concussion protocol. The Dolphins have already ruled him out for this Sunday’s contest with the Minnesota Vikings, but he could return for a Sunday night battle with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.
Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa was cleared from concussion protocol today, per sources. He will be inactive on Sunday vs. the Vikings, but he is expected to return for Week 7 vs. the Steelers.

Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson both got opportunities in Tagovailoa’s absence. It will be great for the team to get their captain back for an important matchup with Pittsburgh and former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.
