If the New York Jets were thinking about returning Aaron Rodgers to the field in 2023, hopefully the Miami Dolphins quelled those thoughts on Sunday.
The Jets fell to 5-9 while being shellacked by the Fish, 30-0, in Florida.
Remember, this was a Dolphins team that did not have Tyreek Hill, who sat out with an injured ankle.
The Dolphins rolled to a 24-0 lead at halftime and coasted from there, getting a pair of field goals from Jason Sanders after intermission.

It was another quarterback fiasco for Robert Saleh, who started Zach Wilson and replaced him after a head injury that was not considered a concussion, whatever that means.
The Jets had 103 total yards on 55 plays. They had 55 penalty yards. They also committed four turnovers.
Rodgers could be eligible to be active in Week 16 at Washington. However, given the Jets’ record and non-existent playoff hopes the risk seems far more than any reward.
The Jets now have gone 13 straight seasons without making the playoffs, the longest active drought across the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.
