Dolphins LB Bradley Chubb added to Pro Bowl as alternate

The 2022 campaign may have been one of the most interesting for Miami Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb.

He started the season off in Denver, where he recorded 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in his first eight games of the year. Then, at the trade deadline, he was shipped to South Florida, along with a 2025 fifth-round pick, for running back Chase Edmonds, a 2023 first-round selection and a 2024 fourth-round selection.

The 26-year-old was also given a huge extension to remain in Miami Gardens beyond 2022, and he, in turn, gave the Dolphins another 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble over his remaining eight appearances.

Now, after being eliminated from the postseason in the wild-card round, Chubb has been named an alternate for the Pro Bowl, replacing Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Khalil Mack.

This is Chubb’s second Pro Bowl, as he also made it in 2020. While there is no full-contact game, the linebacker will join teammates Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead and Xavien Howard in Las Vegas for the festivities.
