After the Miami Dolphins signed the top free agent on the market in left tackle Terron Armstead and traded for wide receiver Tyreek Hill, many believed that they were done making moves.
The Dolphins still had more up their sleeve, as cornerback Xavien Howard’s contract was yet to be addressed despite a promise that these discussions would happen this offseason. Then, Friday night, news broke from the cornerback’s agent that the two sides had agreed to a new extension that would give Howard two extra years and over $50 million in new money.
