The Miami Dolphins will need to find a new defensive coordinator, as the team and Vic Fangio have mutually agreed to part ways, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Fangio joined Mike McDaniel’s coaching staff prior to the 2023 season after Miami moved on from Josh Boyer following 2022. Under Fangio, the Dolphins defense was 22nd in points allowed (23.2 per game) and 11th in yards allowed (323.3 per game).
According to Schefter, Fangio will be a top candidate for the Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator position.
It will be interesting to watch where the Dolphins go from here after changing defensive coordinators in back-to-back seasons.
