The Miami Dolphins, as well as all 31 other NFL teams, are trimming their roster to get down to 53 players, as the deadline to do so is Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are releasing edge rusher Porter Gustin. Gustin had signed with Miami back in June after spending the last three seasons with the Cleveland Browns.

While Gustin played well in the preseason, recording nine tackles and a sack, it wasn’t enough to earn him a spot over some of the veterans, including Trey Flowers, who was just brought in.
