The wild-card showdown at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins could go down as one of the coldest games in NFL history.
The Weather Channel forecast is calling for a high of 7°F and a low of -9°F combined with "potentially dangerous" wind chills well below zero. It is predicted that wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour will swirl around the 8 p.m. ET kickoff, resulting in a wind chill in the range of -35°F.
Ticket prices for the game have been plummeting due to the frigid projected temperatures.
As of Friday afternoon, fans can buy their way into Arrowhead Stadium via SI Tickets for as low as $47, which includes all fees.
Seats in section 340 can be purchased for $38 at SeatGeek, and StubHub is selling tickets as low as $34.

The famous tailgating scene surrounding Arrowhead Stadium is expected to be difficult to navigate this weekend. The National Weather Service warned fans to “cover all extremities including their head and face" in preparation of the harsh outdoor conditions.
The weather is also impacting the betting total for the game, as oddsmakers at SI Sportsbook are predicting a lower-scoring game than originally expected, bringing the total down from 45 to 43.
