He was locked away from the world for five years - and desperately needs someone to show him what he has been missing out on.
Six-year-old Leo has been taken into Oakwood Dog Rescue, in Hull, after enduring years of hardship locked behind his owner's front door.
The poor pooch was never taken on a walk - and became extremely overweight from his lack of exercise.
A spokeswoman said: "For the last five years he has been kept inside a house, never going on a walk or seeing the outside world at all.
"When he was found, his claws were growing into his pads, which is now sorted, and he is extremely overweight."

Despite living an extremely sheltered life, Leo has been described as the "sweetest boy" who has been taking everything in his stride.
"He loves meeting new people and has realised how fun going out on walks can be," the spokeswoman added.
"He has already won the hearts of everyone here at Oakwood with his 'happy-go-lucky' charm. He is regularly told that his cheeky smile and tail that never stops wagging are what we love most about him."
Since being brought to Oakwood from another rescue centre, the beagle has been put on a strict diet to get him back down to a healthy weight for his breed.
Leo can live with children aged 14 and above. He is currently in the process of being dog tested but has not been cat tested.
The spokeswoman said: "He has made a couple of dog friends and he is very calm around them. He especially likes it when they are similar in personality to him.
"Although he is dog friendly, we at Oakwood are currently still assessing he to see if him would like to live with one.
"He is hoping to use his loveable charms to capture the heart of a potential family and bag himself a forever home."
Oakwood Dog Rescue has been helping to rehome unwanted dogs since 2009, mainly working to rescue those living a life of misery in Romania.
A statement reads: "The rescue helps all dogs they can, of any breed, where they come from in the world or age including those with special needs or behaviour issues.
"The goal is to rehabilitate and re-home them to loving homes, where they can live out the rest of their years in a happy, loving environment.
"Great things can be achieved with the help of our many generous supporters working together towards a common goal, creating more happiness for every dog that ends up at Oakwood Dog Rescue."
