Dog's artistic pee that looks like man holding stick leaves people in stitches

People have been left in stitches over a dog's artistic pee that looks like a man standing proud while supporting himself with a hiking stick. Joking about the dog being 'Barksy' or 'Pee-casso', a picture of the dog's 'artwork' has been shared on Reddit, where it has received more than 93,000 upvotes.

When critiquing the dog's work, one user said: "This is beyond brilliant. It clearly shows a man with a hiking stick looking out into the distance at what he has just accomplished. I can picture him being stood on the edge of a great mountain - having dreamt of this very moment for years of his life."

People cannot stop laughing at the dog's artistic pee (Reddit)

While another user argued: "No, it’s a man with a leash that has no dog on it.

"The artist clearly intends to convey the isolative human condition of a man absent a canine. And implied is the trade off of a disruption in the symbiotic canine-homo sapiens relationship, suggesting that even with so-called 'freedom' achieved, canines grieve the absence of their human partners."

A third user said: "The dog painted a super hero peeing with his dog pee."

Turning their attention to the picture of the dog, one user said: "I like how the dog looks unsatisfied like as if he knows he could have done better"

Another user added: "We may laugh but someone out there will be willing to pay a load of money to have that as a wall piece."

It comes after renewed calls to rehome Banksy, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who has had a rough start to life to new owners in the UK.

The four-year-old , has been staying at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre - but hasn't been able to secure a new home despite being known as the shelter's "famous painting dog".

Gina Jones, communications manager at Bristol ARC, said: "He raised £500 for the centre by creating paintings with his nose and paws, which we auctioned off online. Unbelievably, despite all the press, he is still here."

Describing his personality, a statement reads: "Banksy has had a rough start, having been passed between a few homes already.

"He is looking for a consistent and patient forever home, with adopters who are willing to give him the stability that he needs to thrive.

"Banksy loves training and is very eager to please, but he can get a bit boisterous and mouthy when he feels unsure as to how he should behave in certain situations.

"He has a cheeky personality that is sure to make you laugh, and he loves nothing more than playing with his carers and having a good time.

"Banksy enjoys going for walks but will need to wear a muzzle, as he doesn't appreciate off-lead dogs suddenly invading his space.

"Luckily, one of his favourite activities is muzzle training, and enjoys wearing a muzzle because it means he gets tasty treats.

Banksy is a mis-understood dog with lots of potential, and we are sure that he will bring a great deal of joy to the right family."

If you're interested in rehoming Banksy, or any other dogs in Bristol Animal Rescue Centre's care, visit visit their website and fill out an adoption form.
