He’s been patrolling the streets of Paisley and elsewhere in Renfrewshire every day after work since King went missing but so far he’s been unable to locate him.
But Stephen is still hopeful of being reunited with four-legged friend after several sightings of King by others. Stephen told us that he’s been contacted by people from Paisley who said they saw an animal that looked like King being walked by a couple.
King is quite a distinctive looking dog, big and with white and slightly ginger fluffy fur, with a cut on his eye, and at the time he went missing he was wearing a long chain leash.
Stephen explained: “I shared the appeal on the Paisley Facebook page and a woman got in touch to say she’d seen him being walked around George Street and she described him, mentioned his chain and I thought well that must be him.”
Other people have shared images of a white dog that was being held at the Mill Street Police Station, but after contacting the police, Stephen confirmed that it was not King.
“He’s a big friendly dog and we just want to get him back. If anyone has seen King or seen him walking about Paisley with someone let this number know 07943240489.” Added Stephen.
