Fulham are set to be without a key player when they face Liverpool this weekend.
The Reds take on the newly-promoted club on Saturday in the first Premier League fixture of the new season. It will be Liverpool’s first visit to Craven Cottage since the 1-1 draw in December 2020.
Jurgen Klopp’s side themselves have a couple of injury problems going into the trip to West London. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue, as is Diogo Jota, while there are concerns over Curtis Jones’ fitness.

Former Liverpool star Harry Wilson missed Fulham’s final pre-season fixture of the summer at the weekend – a 1-1 draw with Villarreal – having suffered a knee injury. Former Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is also on the sidelines with a fitness issue.
Fulham boss Marco Silva says that Wilson is injured, and hinted that the forward will miss the reunion with his old club. However, the former Everton manager admitted he did not know the severity at the time of asking.
“Harry Wilson and Nathaniel Chalobah are both injured,” said Silva at the weekend. “We’re waiting on the medical staff but it doesn’t look good. Harry’s injury is in his knee but we’ll wait for the medical staff.”
Liverpool sold Wilson to Fulham last summer in a £12million deal. He left Anfield after 16 years on Merseyside, where he managed just two first-team appearances.
