It has been well-known that LeBron James wants to play in the NBA with his son, Bronny, preferably on the same team at the same time.
The younger James’ stock seems to be rising amid a strong senior season at Sierra Canyon School in the San Fernando Valley, although his ultimate prospects as an NBA player remain murky.
The earliest he would be eligible for the NBA draft would be 2024. His father has a team option to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2024-25 season.
Meanwhile, the elder James has another son, Bryce, who is 15 years old and starting to emerge as an interesting prospect himself.
While Bronny James is a lean 6-foot-2, Bryce James is reportedly 6-foot-6 and more resembles his father in terms of physique.
LeBron James was asked during the NBA All-Star weekend if he would like to stick around in the NBA long enough to play with both of his sons.
LeBron James was asked if he wants to stay in the league long enough to play with Bryce. He said he’s not sure how long he will play.
“I know I’m on the side of the hill, that’s for sure.”

Bryce James would be eligible to be drafted in 2027. By then his father will be 42 years of age. While it is conceivable he could still be a good NBA player that long from now, it is far from a certainty, and it’s also not certain if he would even want to play that long.
