Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol’s mom threw an absolutely perfect first pitch

For Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol, his baseball skills clearly run in the family.

After an emotional reunion between Grateol and his mother Ysmalia on Tuesday, the Dodgers invited Graterol’s mom to the team’s Thursday game against the San Francisco Giants to throw out the first pitch.

Well, she threw an absolutely perfect pitch to her son, who caught the ball as it crossed home plate. Like, it was a textbook pitch, as good as you could possibly ask for in a first pitch.

Graterol’s mom was a former softball pitcher in Venezuela, so that absolutely worked in her favor. After the impressive pitch, Graterol embraced his mom with a big hug as they soaked in the awesome moment together.

This is just the absolute best, and it’s a testament to why it’s so cool when families get involved with first pitches.

It’s been an emotional week for Graterol, and he got to celebrate his mom being able to attend his games in the most special way.
