Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker gives birth as she cuddles newborn baby during London outing

Jodie Whittaker has given birth to her second child with husband Christian Contreras.

The Doctor Who actress, 39, looked happier than ever as she was pictured cuddling her newborn baby during an outing in London.

She and husband Christian were spotted with The Crown's Claire Foy as they took a walk along the city streets.

Jodie smiled as she carried her baby strapped in a papoose as they all enjoyed a catch-up.

The trio were all pictured with hot drinks as they chatted away and laughed with one another.

Claire, 38, sported a casual look with a grey cardigan, rolled-up blue jeans and silver pumps.

Actress Jodie has remained quiet throughout her pregnancy and only confirmed the news that she was expecting when she appeared on the BRIT Awards red carpet with a bump back in February.

She oozed glamour in an elegant cream and orange gown by luxury British brand Cimone as her baby bump stole the show.

The actress and her actor husband welcomed their first child - a girl - in 2015.

Jodie and her husband have kept the little one out of the spotlight.

Jodie and her American actor hubby Christian Contreras married in 2008.

The two had met while in drama school, with Christian being known from Zero Dark Thirty and Fury.

She previously discussed her marriage with Mirror and said: "He’s from Tucson and I’m from Huddersfield.

"But I don’t divulge stuff about him, because I don’t think he’d appreciate it when he’s not here to speak for himself. We do get comments like, 'Where the hell did you two meet?' We’re like an international couple."

She added: "I felt really young when I got married at just 26, especially living and working somewhere as fast-paced as London - where you can’t even plan for the next week, let alone commit to something for the rest of your life.

"But I’m a good wife, though I think I’m a bit rubbish at home comforts."
