A doctor has shared what drinks they think are best to have during a heatwave.
Over the next few days temperatures across Merseyside will soar as high as 36C. The Met Office has issued amber and red warnings for the extreme heat.
Forecasters have said the 'extreme heat' could lead to "potential serious illness or danger to life" and substantial changes in working practices are needed. The weather warning is in place from Sunday, July 17 until midnight on Tuesday, July 19.

Many people are desperate for ways to keep cool and may think that chugging ice cold water may be the best way. But ITV doctor Ellie Cannon shared her expert opinion on what is best to drink to keep hydrated on a hot day.
Appearing on This Morning, she told Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary : "I don't think people need to have these rehydration drinks or electrolytes or isotonic. You can actually drink anything, and particularly for children. If you have got a kid who prefers to have apple juice, as long as they are drinking, actually it is fine.
"The same is for elderly people. Often we are afraid of having tea and coffee because we know that it does actually make you pass water, but if that is what somebody elderly actually wants to drink, actually that's better." She added: "If you are going to the loo regularly and you are not thirsty, you are drinking enough."
