Families will be thrilled to hear that Santa's grottos in any coronavirus tier can reopen, but you need to get your slot booked soon.
The news will come as welcome relief for parents hoping to bring some normality back to a year of uncertainty for their children.
The latest government guidance which will apply from Wednesday, December 2, means children will be able to see Father Christmas even if you live in the highest tier 3.
The grotto has to be within a venue which is already permitted to open and social distancing must be followed.
One of Liverpool's most popular grottos is at Dobbies garden centre in Speke, which the ECHO visited a few years ago, and is visited by thousands of children every year.
However, if you are looking to visit this year, we have bad news as the Santa's grotto at Dobbies in Liverpool is fully booked.
But don't worry if you are desperate to see Father Christmas at Dobbies, there is still lots of availability at the garden centre in Southport.
The grotto is currently open throughout December, however, the weekends of the 12, 13, 19 and 20 and Christmas Eve are already sold out. You can click here to book your slot.
At the time of publication, there are still sessions available on December 3, 4, 5, 7-11, 14-18 and 21, 22 and 23.
Your little ones can explore the enchanted setting, be welcomed by Father Christmas himself and receive a toy of your choice. You can also pre-book photo souvenirs.
