Do you remember Tulip Joshi from 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai'? Here's what the actress is doing now...

Tulip Joshi, who made her big Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’, disappeared from the spotlight after working in the entertainment industry for some years.

She was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer ‘Jai Ho’ where she made a cameo appearance as Mrs D’Souza. Her fans have been wondering about her whereabouts ever since. We decided to dig in a little on the actress and find out what she was up to.

After being in a live-in relationship with her partner, Captain Vinod Nair, for four years, Tulip got married to him. Both her husband and she are currently running a business together. She spends a significant amount of time meditating in addition to managing the company.

The former actress was born in Mumbai to a Hindu Gujarati father and a Christian Armenian mother. She entered the Femina Miss India Contest in 2000. She did not make it to the final list, but her charming looks were noticed. Tulip bagged a number of TV commercials.

Tulip attended the wedding reception of Yash Chopra’s son, Aditya. At that time, she was noticed and asked to audition for a role in ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’. Tulip readily agreed but worked on her diction in Hindi since she was not fluent in that language. She was renamed Sanjana for the movie.

‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ also starred Jimmy Sheirgill, Uday Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Shamita Shetty, and others. The film failed to impress the audience at the box office.
