Do the Boston Celtics need more bench depth? It depends on who you ask, but if you ask the eponymous hosts of the CLNS Media “Bob Ryan, Jeff Goodman, and Gary Tanguay” podcast, adding some more reliable depth for the Celtics bench is not only a good idea, it may well be a critical one for the pursuit of an NBA title.
The Celtics continue to excel, but have raised some questions among fans concerned about how the team’s reserve players are not providing a consistent punch off the pine. While acknowledging the positives of the ball club to start the 2023-24 season, there’s a consensus on the pod that adding one more player would bolster the team’s depth, especially for unforeseen circumstances, for Boston’s title pursuit.
