Do Patti trailer out: Kajol sets to unravel twisted tale of twins

Do Patti trailer unveiled

New Delhi: The trailer for the upcoming film Do Patti, starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol, was released on Monday. 

The 2-minute, 37 seconds trailer begins with Kajol who is entrusted with a case of an attempted murder. The movie marks Kajol’s first role as a police officer while Kriti is playing dual characters: Saumya Sood and Shailee.

In the trailer, Kajol encounters Kriti’s character Saumya, who appears to be an innocent victim. The trailer shows Saumya and Dhruv, portrayed by Shaheer Sheikh, in a romantic relationship, which is soon interrupted by the arrival of Saumya’s twin sister, (Shailee).
The trailer shows Dhruv behind bars for allegedly attempting to kill one of the twins. Kajol is on a mission to unravel this mystery.

Kajol and Kriti are sharing the screen after a gap of 8 years. They previously collaborated in 'Dilwale', which also features Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.

Kriti took to Instagram to share the trailer and captioned it: "My first as a producer! My first with a double role.. one of my most challenging roles.. This butterfly's kattha is too special.. Twists, turns, rivalry, love, hurt and an important subject that the entire team feels strongly for..Can't wait for you all to watch the the film.. Filhaal.. trailer kaisa laga??"

The movie, slated to be released on Netflix, is being described as a "captivating mystery thriller". Set in the hills of north India, the film is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi.
