A popular dog food product has been recalled amid fears it could contain metal. Encore's Beef Selection in Gravy multipack has been taken off the shelves
Owners have been told by the Food Standards Agency not to give their pets the food. Insted, they can claim a full refund by taking it back to where they bought it, BirminghamLive reports.
Batch codes LU1-302, LU1-343, and LU1343D are affected. The FSA said: “We urge customers who have bought this product not to feed it to their dog and to return the Multipack for a full refund with or without a receipt.
"The Encore helpdesk is also available here. We're sorry for any inconvenience this precautionary recall may cause. No other Encore products are affected by this recall."
Product notice recalls are being shown by retailers who carry the popular items. Dog owners impacted only need to take the products back for a full refund. No receipt is required by stores, amid health and safety concerns for dogs across the country.
