A CONVICTED killer who escaped from prison recently has been spotted on CCTV in Glasgow.
Raymond McCourt, a prisoner at HMP Castle Huntly, was reported missing at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, April 22, after he failed to return to the facility.
HMP Castle Huntly is the country's only open prison, accommodating 284 low supervision adult male prisoners.
The 59-year-old was said to use public transport and had connections to the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas.
Now, police have released a new CCTV image of McCourt as they continue to try and trace him.

Officers say he was last seen at a premises in Duke Street in the city at around 4.40pm on Tuesday.
He was wearing a checked red, white, and blue shirt, a checked baseball cap, and a rain jacket.
Police are warning the public not to approach McCourt.
He is described as being 6ft 2ins in height, of a stocky build, with short grey hair, and a beard.
McCourt also has reduced mobility.
Anyone with any information which could help trace him is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2857 of April 22, 2025.
