Divock Origi has shared the incredible moment in his Liverpool career that 'made time stop'.
The Liverpool striker was speaking alongside teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Adrian to discuss their favourite moments with the club and understandably, the Champions League final in 2019 was top of Origi's list. The 26-year-old came on as a second-half substitute for Roberto Firmino as the Reds led Tottenham 1-0.
With just minutes left to play of normal time, the Belgium international stepped up and his left-footed strike nestled into the bottom corner. Origi described the moment as a 'kid's dream'.

"I would say the Champions League [is my career highlight] when we won it," he told LFC TV as part of the “Don’t Lose Your Bottle” campaign and Goals For Change initiative. "It's a kid's dream. The feeling of something that you've visualised since you were a kid.
"Then it's about to happen and there was a long build up to the game. We had the camp in Spain and then we went to Madrid. The stadium was unbelievable, the weather was crazy, the whole scene with the fans.
"I came on and scored which made it even more special. My family was there, everyone was there and in that moment when he [the referee] finished the game, it's like time stopped for me.
Alexander-Arnold, who played the full 90 minutes at the Wanda Metropolitano, added: "It's crazy to think what happened that night. It just feels like magic, to be honest. To be apart of it is special."
Origi played a crucial role in Liverpool's run to Madrid as he scored twice in the dramatic second-leg of the semi-final against Barcelona at Anfield. The striker's game time the last few seasons has been significantly reduced and he's likely to depart once his contract expires in the summer, but the Champions League moments have written him into the club's history books.
Reports in recent weeks have linked him with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan, but as Liverpool embark on a dramatic run-in with three pieces of silverware still up for grabs, Origi could yet have a major part to play in further success for the club.
