Divock Origi has offered a prediction for Liverpool ahead of his exit from the club.
Origi is set to leave Anfield this summer after eight years contracted to the club, when his contract is set to run out. The Belgium international’s current deal expires at the end of next month, and various reports continue to link AC Milan with a move for the striker.
At the end of Liverpool’s final Premier League match of the season against Wolves, Origi was given a guard of honour by his team-mates and club staff. The striker was then presented with a commemorative framed plague of the Champions Wall.

Sunday saw Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool squad take part in a trophy parade around the city to mark the club’s success. The FA Cup and Carabao Cup trophies were presented to the fans, while the Liverpool Women team also celebrated their Championship title and promotion to the Women’s Super League.
On the parade bus, Origi was speaking to club media about the current state of the Liverpool team. The 27-year-old went on to provide a prediction for the future of the team.
“Like I said, I feel like our purpose is done,” said Origi on the club’s Twitter account.
“So it helps to put it in a good perspective, and I feel like we are in good hands.
“There is so much still to come for this team.”
