A dad says he has been blessed with a divine Revel-ation after the Baby Jesus appeared to him in a piece of chocolate.
Myles Campbell found the “divine” sweet in a bag of chocolate Revels in March 2021, reports the The Daily Star.
Myles said he was at home watching a film while munching on a bag of the assorted chocolates when he felt that one had a rather peculiar shape.
But when the 38-year-old pulled it out of the bag, he was stopped in his tracks, as he noticed that it resembled a 'wee baby Jesus'.
Myles couldn’t bring himself to eat the miraculous morsel — instead he has kept it in the fridge for two years.
Myles, of Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, Scotland, said his kids have also been banned from eating the religious Revel.
He said: “I couldn’t bring myself to eat it, it still lives in my fridge.
"I don't know what type of Revel it is. It could be an orange cream or a coffee cream, but I wouldn't like to disclose that because a lot of people don't like the coffee creams."
Meanwhile a man in New York shared an image of the messiah which he said had appeared to him in his plate of chicken tikka masala.
Jeff Jordyn, 52, said: "When I put my fork down it moved a little bit of sauce around the eyes. I didn't think anything of it but that actually turned it into Jesus.
"You can see eyes, beard, long flowing locks - it's like the depiction of Jesus in a lot of paintings.
He added: “"This is the only time I've had someone appear in my food. I'm not real big on divine intervention."
Jesus Christ has also reportedly appeared to another man, with a UK artist saying the son of God appeared to him in a lump of wood.
Keith Key is an artist whose latest work involves a crucified tree root - a comment on how society treats trees, he says - but recently a mysterious face has appeared on the work.
Now staff at the art gallery where the work is being exhibited have said what looks like a face, resembling Jesus wearing a crown of thorns , has appeared on the artwork.
Artist Keith, who has said he can also see the face, thinks he might have an explanation for the mystical apparition. However, he admits others may disagree, given the religious connotations of the piece.
"The two curators of the gallery, Denise and Andy, informed me last week that they can see a face that has appeared on the artwork," Keith said. "I went to look on Friday and I can see it too."
He added: "I believe it is the mix of the oil and the sap of the wood, but as the piece has religious connotations others may think otherwise."
Keith, who is studying at the University of Hull and the Hull College of Fine Arts, did not set out to create an overtly religious piece.
"It's not a religious piece, even though it's based on religion; it's about basically how we're crucifying trees, not respecting them, not replenishing them," he explained.
